NORDIC AIR SPORTS RACE CHAMPIONSHIPS
We have the pleasure of inviting the Nordic Aero Clubs to send their teams to participate in the Nordic Air Sports Race Championships, which will be held at Oripää Airfield (EFOP), Finland, from 2–5 July 2026.

Finnish NAC, in cooperation with Turku Flying Club.

Oripää Airfield (EFOP), located 25 NM northeast of Turku Airport (EFTU)

Elevation: 331 ft AMSL
Runways:
- 06/24 – 900 × 10 m, asphalt
- 14/32 – 940 × 16 m, asphalt
Radio: 123.200 MHz
Fuel
Available fuels:
- 100LL
- Mogas (alkylate petrol)
- Diesel
Payment by invoice.
Current indicative prices:
- 100LL: €3.50/litre
- Diesel: €2.15/litre
- Mogas (alkylate petrol): €2.52/litre
Prices are subject to change.
Aircraft Rental
We expect to have two Cessna 152 aircraft available for rental through the Finnish Aviation Academy. Rental rates are still to be confirmed.

Accommodation
Accommodation arrangements are the responsibility of the participants.
At the airfield, we have:
- Five small club cottages (4 persons each)
- Additional accommodation in the clubhouse
Accommodation in the clubhouse costs €10 per person per night.
The entry fee includes accommodation at the club area from Friday to Sunday, subject to availability. Please bring your own sleeping bag.

Aircraft
Participants are encouraged to bring their own aircraft.
If you require a rental aircraft, please inform the organizers as soon as possible.
We expect to have two Cessna 152 aircraft available from the Finnish Aviation Academy, but the rental arrangements have not yet been finalized.
Arrival
No arrival restrictions apply at EFOP.
Landing Fees
No landing fees at EFOP.
Fuel Recommendation
If refuelling is required before crossing the sea, we recommend doing so at ESSN, where fuel prices are generally lower than in Finland.
In emergency situations, limited quantities of 100LL may be available at EFMA through Åland Flygklubb:

Required Documents
The following documents are required:
- Pilot licence (pilots only)
- FAI Sporting Licence (pilots only)
- Certificate of Airworthiness for each aircraft
- Aircraft insurance certificate in accordance with EU regulations
Competition Map
The competition will use a topographical map at a scale of 1:200,000.
GNSS Flight Recorders (FR)
All teams are requested to bring a sufficient number of GNSS flight recorders.
